ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Cady hoodie is a cool and practical hoodie that is also super soft and comfortable. It is knitted in Snuggles from Knittersbox, which has a wide range of colors and is completely plastic-free. The hoodie is knitted top-down. You start with the top, which is knitted back and forth in stockinette stitch.

 You then pick up stitches on each side, and knit the hoodie back and forth until it is joined at the bottom of the face opening. You finish with a ribbed edge with a split, which also provides a good fit over the shoulders. Stitches are picked up around the neck on the wrong side of the hoodie, on the last round before the start of the ribbing. It is knitted in the round in ribbing to the specified length or the length you desire (if you knit longer than specified in the pattern, remember to order extra yarn). Finally, stitches are picked up around the entire face opening on the ribbing. This is knitted to the specified length, folded in half, and then neatly sewn on the wrong side. Tip: if you do not want the hood to be so large, you can end it a little earlier than explained in the pattern.
